Red Sox Nation - the Fenway Faithful have seen this before - never count the Boys of Boston out - they live for October baseball. Finally some of the bats have been swinging - not the huge slammers, but thats OK - hit - get the guy on base and get some runs in. Beckett and the bullpen toughed it out after a shaky start - bless them for shutting down the Rays at the Trop. Papelbon - man this guy is a star - you just know if Boston is ahead and you can get the ball to him - lights out.
So looking forward to tonights game - hope that Franconia and the boys can send it back to Fenway for home field advantage against the Phillies.

Sad day for this die hard Bo Sox fan - but all hope is not lost - hopefully my boys in Boston can freeze out the Rays tomorrow night and stay alive in their quest for another World Series title. The pitching has been dismal - the offense lackluster, come on boys - show the world why you are the reigning champions - how about another fabulous 'blue moon' moment. Pleeaasee.

OK - So I am reluctant to write my thoughts down (especially on the Internet) but I have this blog - have had it for awhile now and haven't used it. I figure now is the time to start, I will be leading some sessions on blogging and Web/Library 2.0 so I figure I should actually walk the walk - not just the talk.
No promises about how often I will post - this may be worse than a dental visit. Hopefully it will become second nature and dare I hope, informative.
Not pushing my luck here today - will try to come back and write more tomorrow.
